This is just one of several sports conditioning apps - part of the PRO Sports Conditioning membership.
Program that focuses on beginner to advanced dynamic warm up routines.
It has been scientifically proven that warming up dynamically is more beneficial than static stretching. This type of warm-up is critical to prevent injuries when doing most physical activities. Get your body ready for intense performance using this program!
App Benefits
- Decrease risk of injury, soreness and pain
- Recover quickly from sports injuries
- Alleviate stiff, tight muscles, and joints for good
- Prepare for training or game competition
- Enhance blood flow
- Improved confidence and athletic ability
This program will have all of your muscles firing and ready for the more intense, weight-bearing exercises and stretches to follow. As we grow older, our muscles do not stretch out quite so easily as they used to and we become much more susceptible to injury if we do not prepare our bodies properly. For younger athletes, they need to be flexible in order to maximize athletic potential. No matter who you are, warming-up dynamically is the key to success!
App Includes all 4 Types of Dynamic Stretching
Ballistic - Ballistic stretching uses momentum generated by rapid swinging, bouncing and rebounding movements to force a body part past its normal range of motion.
Dynamic: As opposed to ballistic stretching, this type of stretching uses a controlled swinging movement to move a particular body part to the limit of its range of motion. The force of the bounce is gradually increased but should never become radical or uncontrolled.
Active Isolated: Active isolated stretching is sometimes referred to as the Mattes Method. It contracts the antagonist (opposing muscles), which forces the muscle groups to relax. The athlete moves into the stretch quickly and smoothly, holding for 1 to 2 seconds and then relaxes.
Resistance and Loaded: Resistance and loaded flexibility are a form that both contracts and lengthens muscles at the same time. It will do its entire range of motion while under contraction.
